Pearl or Peterkort?

By Living Room Realty, September 4, 2018

This couple lives in the Pearl District and has enjoyed the area for many years. They considered moving out of the Pearl a few times for more space but they loved watching the sun rise from their 12th floor window. They appreciated the ease of condo living and the ability to walk to all of their favorite places, services and Max line. While they were very comfortable in their efficient 738 square feet, they longed for a fireplace, a small outdoor living space, and an attached garage. And then there were the growing grandchildren…the space was getting tight for the overnight visits.

They looked at a few townhomes in Peterkort Woods over the past couple of years, but they were not ready to leave the Pearl until recently. They viewed a home in which Renaissance Homes called their high-end modern loft package with an open floor plan, 10 foot ceiling, a fireplace, and an inviting outdoor space. This townhome was an end unit with many windows and it was obvious the original owners cared for the home, it was in excellent condition. Another big factor was the oversized garage with enough space for two cars and all of their recreation equipment. The idea of giving up a rental garage that was a 20 minute drive from their condo was appealing. After a long list of Pros and Cons, they decided to make a change and choose the townhome at Peterkort Woods.
