Public Pools, Splash Pads, and Interactive Fountains in Portland

By Living Room Realty, July 26, 2021

With temperatures creeping up beyond 85ºF again, we long for that friend or that property that has a pool… or at least a mister for comfort sake. For swimming, you’ll find that all public pools have use limitations by either population or activity. Some of the differences are straight forward, check out the pool nearest you to see if you can cool off while exercising or playing around.

Outdoor Pools have the most flexibility in usage, including play swimming, lap swimming, and water-fitness.

Indoor Pools offer the best heat escape, but, due to being indoors, pool usage is limited to lap swimming, and water-fitness.

Splash Pads have a special touch of interactivity, young ones can press buttons that activate wild contraptions which bend and squirt water around.

Perhaps a little water play from a larger fountain is more your speed.
