As we start to come out of our home cocoons of the past year, what better time to buy a brand new house?! My buyers are thrilled that there’s no rooms to redo, no painting and no weekend honey-do lists on their agenda…the only “projects” they have are trips (still masked up, of course!) to West Elm and Target. It doesn’t hurt that they found this pocket of new construction with enough units available that they didn’t have to get in a bidding war or cover appraisal shortfalls…so they have “extra” money for the fun stuff…furniture, pillows and artwork. Which means that as the sun is peeking out this month, they’ll be ready to explore their new neighborhood, plan some hikes and just enjoy the summer after a very long year!
