Red Carpet Treatment

Buying a home in today’s market can be challenging. Just like jumping into a cold lake, it’s takes time to warm up to the fast and competitive nature of conditions. It’s a process that is exciting if you want it to be and in every case takes time.  Enzo and Helen spent enough time in the resale market that they realized that they’d much prefer to have a home more suited to their liking; what better opportunity to attain through building new construction.

They toured Reeds Crossing where there are many buildings to choose from. They found the corner that they were hoping for, so we acted fast and secured a lot. This was a huge win as sales were at an all time high and lots (especially corner lots) were selling out.

The construction process is extremely fun and watching the earth develop from soil to structure is an incredible opportunity. Talk about really getting to know your house inside and out. We speak the next 6 months together seeing this form to function. They spent a lot of time working with their engineers, designers coming up with color schemes and finishes for their home sweet home. We were even able to help recommend flooring companies we had worked with to help them bring to cost/sqft down.

 

 

A little secret about large construction sites- around 11:55 when you hear a cucaracha horn blow, follow it! It’s authentic Mexican food trucks pulling in to serve the hard working men and women onsite.

The food is fresh and is cheap compared to the prices in town. The carnitas and asana tacos are some of the best I’ve had.

 

Six months is a long time to wait for anything but the vision was coming into fruition with lightning speed. Builders will always do a great job; however, if buyers do not have representation during this process they might miss performing the correct inspections to catch all the nit picky items that can tend to frustrate buyers later on. It’s really easy to miss the timing in which this needs to take place so we had our eagles on the timeline so we could get it scheduled on time. The inspection revealed a laundry list of items we made sure we completed before their final walk.

 

We couldn’t be more proud of this hard working couple and all it took to get this point. Congratulations to Enzo and Helen!
