Restored Faith In Humanity

By Living Room Realty, February 18, 2021

This was one of those transactions that really felt like a win-win for everyone involved! Kyle and Deidre were referred to me by past clients, and we searched for a home for months. The current market conditions are tough for all buyers right now. At times, they were a bit discouraged by the lack of inventory and intense competition. Fast forward to a month ago when Deidre called me with loads of enthusiasm to tell me she thinks there could be a unique opportunity to purchase a home off market (WHAT…..NO COMPETITION?). An incredible house in SW Portland was in need of new owners, and the seller wanted to give Kyle and Diedre the first opportunity to put an offer together before hitting the market. The seller had a realtor, the buyers had a realtor, and we all worked together to facilitate the smoothest transaction that left everyone feeling grateful. The seller knew Kyle and Deidre personally, and wanted to give this amazing couple (who happen to be first time home buyers) and opportunity to accomplish their home buying goals without the intense competition. The whole process really restored my faith in humanity. Everyone wanted to be fair, and everyone walked away from this transaction feeling appreciative and happy. God I love my job!
