Sometimes buying a new home is the furthest thought from a buyer’s mind, until they see something hit the market that is truly irresistible. I had the joy of connecting with Anthony through a mutual friend at the start of 2021 when we embarked into the woods and beaches of Southern Oregon to work on a creative project together. After a few days, we discovered our shared love of motorcycles and dirt bikes. He and his wife Amy had bought their beautiful 2 story place in SE a few years earlier and were happily enjoying their spot, when they saw a gorgeous home, fresh with great remodeling on a huge 2+ acre lot just a lil bit further out in SE Portland, come to market. With their love of dirt bikes and the potential for a private track, the place was a dream come true!
They called me to see if it would be possible to submit an offer with such short notice, and I reached out to make a connection with the two listing agents. Their seller was in the process of accepting another offer, but I was able to submit a back up offer and shared the story of how much the extra large lot with so much potential had sparked a sincere passion in my clients. While I stayed in strong contact with the agents, Amy and Anthony started dreaming of the dirt bike track they would build if they would be so lucky to secure the home.
In about a week’s time, we got the news we were hoping for – my clients were in first position! We had a great inspection and eased through towards close. The listing agents were just wonderful to work with and we just closed this last week. Congratulations to Amy and Anthony on this incredible place. I can’t wait to come braaaap it up with you two!
