Hi, Readers!
Angela and Igor came to me by way of my Realtor network in California. In case you didn’t know, a lot of Californians are moving to Oregon. (*sarcasm*) These two were ones I was thrilled to get to know – vivacious, decisive, creative and fun. Brazilians by way of LA to PDX, their bubbly and warm demeanor shined through from moment one. They trusted me to give them virtual tours of homes before making the decision to fly up to view them in person, and in the case of the home they just closed on, they knew they needed to act fast to have a chance of getting their offer accepted. This meant a leap of faith, which they took with me.
Four days later, with an offer accepted and inspections scheduled, we met onsite in person (for the first time!). It was like seeing an old friend again – but in this case, they were new friends whom I’d never met before..? Weird. But you know what I mean. We had some time to kill and they’d been up since 4 a.m. with no food. We decided lunch was mandatory and piled into my mobile command, AKA Falcon the Tesla. I could go on an on about how much I love my car (which I bought fully well knowing it was a COVID/midlife crisis mobile – more on that later). As we passed a Sonic Drive In, they shared they’d never been. Uuuurrrrch, the car turned around and we swung through for burgers and fries. And, I showed them Car-aoke function, that even had Brazilian/Portuguese songs! Here’s a look.
