Here’s the scene:
I’m in the 3rd grade. My dad is the coach of the Black Stallions softball team, of which I am obligated to be a part. We have never won a game. Not one. Good thing I became a REALTOR® because my dreams of being a professional athlete were dashed by that incredibly depressing season. On the upside though, the entire thing was made worlds better by the fact that my childhood bestie Emily was on the team. If you have to lose, best to not do it alone. At least there is someone to cry into your trapper keeper with.
Zip on forward to today, and I just helped Emily purchase a sweet bachelorette pad in ye ol’ St. Johns for only $237k! It’s dialed, it’s adorable, and it’s perfect for my life-long best friend. Hell of a win, if you ask me.
While I wasn’t able to find any softball photos for this, I did come across an old prom photo of the two of us. Oh yeah baby. 2002 was a goooooooood year for satin.
