The Hard Goodbye

By Living Room Realty, October 7, 2020

Home. It goes beyond a street address. After living in, raising a family and becoming part of a “local”, forming friendships and relationships that go deeper than the casual hello, goodbye; enjoying reciprocal acknowledgments with local schools, merchants and neighborhood associations…….all that time and effort builds a “home” that is a loving relationship which is hard to leave.

This home was fortunate to have owners with a clear eyed vision: all the many and timely mechanical upgrades, the creation of an arboretum and enchanting garden beds out of an undeveloped and neglected yard, designing and building unique and welcoming home living spaces as well as an outdoor environment for sharing great times with friends and family on the deck, around the firepit and on the basketball court. All this was easily recognized as a wonderful value and endowment for the new family. A Warm Hello.
