The “In N Out” of the Pacific Northwest

By Living Room Realty, September 11, 2020

Is it me? Or are you also sick of In N Out weaseling into every burger conversation?

Somehow it’s always automatically deemed as the best fast food burger place in the whole US…. Don’t get me wrong though – I LOVE In N Out! Their secret sauce and animal fries is what keeps me driving 45 minutes to Keizer almost every other weekend. However, I do not think it is the only burger place in existence around us.

There is a secret hidden gem in Portland that no one really talks about – Burgerville

I have to admit though, I have only recently discovered Burgerville and all it’s glory in the past few months, but I have been addicted ever since. It was a little intimidating to approach at first since their concept is very “retro” and “old-fashioned”, but the food makes up for it!

They have the same concept as In N Out where everything is sourced locally and is always fresh (no extra added preservatives)! Their secret burger spread is AMAZING! Additionally, their menu changes practically every month where it will reflect what fruit, vegetable, or ingredient is in season at the local farms they source from. My all time favorite is their strawberry menu specifically the shake when it comes in season. You can really taste the freshness and authenticity of the flavors! The best part of all is that their wait time and lines don’t extend longer than 15 minutes compared to In N Out’s 1 hour +.

I’m no way bashing on In N Out, but I’m just here to share that there are other burger places that can provide you what In N Out does without the long wait!
