The Little (recording) Studio That Could

By Living Room Realty, March 16, 2021

He wanted a building to convert into his dream recording studio.

It was just a matter of finding the exact right place in the most difficult buyer’s market in a decade.

And then we found it.

Since the listing agent was required to be present at all showings and my client will be the first to admit he tends to express his emotional state in real time, we had to have a code for whether or not he was into the property. The code phrase was “This could work, but I’ll have to run it by my crew.”

We took a lap through the house, the back house, the detached garage and walked the grounds, including the built-in fountain and dog run.

My client’s eyes bulged as he practically shouted, “This could work, but I’ll have to run it by my crew.” He’s no Meryl Streep, but I think he pulled it off.

We did some deep negotiating and in the end, everyone is happy.

I think some magic is going to happen at this incredible place.

They’ve got some building to do, and I cannot wait to see (and hear) what happens.
