It takes a lot of trust and confidence to recommend someone to help with such a huge and important process of buying or selling. With so many hours spent together whether in person or remote, it makes for such a more authentic process when the person making the connection matches you up professional and personality wise with the people in their inner circle. The evolution of a business growing to 80% repeat clients and those whom they refer is not happenstance. The overwhelming happiness I feel when connected to parents and grandparents, neighbors and co-workers, friends and favorite baristas when a real estate need arises is beyond compare.
Over the years I have pondered expanding my practice to close more “deals” through various methods, but the idea of outsourcing the magic I feel when doing what I do has stopped the idea in it’s tracks every time. This is more than just a real estate business I am so fortunate to show up to every day. It is a story woven by threads of so many amazing people. It’s the bittersweet feeling I get once closed because I won’t get to see and talk to my people as much. So much purpose and joy comes from a smaller circle of meaningful relationships that seem to organically multiply. So for now I find comfort in having just what I need to provide for my family, serving fewer clients better by choice, and filling my cup with this trade I love so much.
