It was a true delight helping Alex buy a house for his family’s return to PDX. I say this despite the fact that the process didn’t actually go that delightfully. The home inspection revealed more than just the average “old house” problems and gave both of us cause for alarm. But Alex and I worked hard procuring bids, getting specialist opinion, researching just what he’d be getting into buying this house, and negotiating with the sellers (and dare I say we both had fun doing so). Luckily for this particular house, not only is he willing to do what needs to be done, he is excited! This already lovely house is going to be truly spectacular after he does the work and moves in with his wife and baby boy.
