CONGRATULATIONS, JAKE!! You bought a home and that is something to celebrate. Do your victory dance and if you don’t have one, make one. Strut strong and stand tall. You have so much to be proud of!
For everyone who’s reading- here’s our champ doing the final step along the way, signing loan and closing documents at the escrow office. Let’s all take a minute and give him a nice virtual cheers. He bought his first home!
About the digs:
Mid century 1950’s living with 3 beds, 1 bath, a garage that refuses to be missed (hello, creative visions), and a not so little lot coming in at a grand 0.17 acres. I’d say he did well! The property is in a growing neighborhood where it’s safe expect some appreciation over the years and that’s always a nice bonus.
The scoop:
The transaction was possible because of pleasant people all around. In real estate we are all working together, not against each other, to make our goals a reality. This means communication on all levels, cooperation, and sometimes patience. We had made it (almost) all the way to the end of the transaction when we got the news some appraisal related touch ups needed to happen. Not easy news when you think it’s almost time for the keys! Instead of panicking we worked together to get some contractors lined up and make our way to closing. After a small extension, some combining of powers, and a helpful crew, the seller got to pass the torch to the new buyer and everyone got what they needed. I LOVE A GOOD WIN-WIN!
