Time For A (Climate) Change

By Matt Guy, October 9, 2020

Brady and Tess are home buyers who are part of a growing trend in Portland.  People looking to escape whatever natural disaster California is currently offering up, but still looking to live in a thriving west coast city.

This group presents fun and unusual challenges, as the Buyers are sometimes unable to leave their current city to head to Oregon to house hunt.  Meaning, we are often having Buyers close on homes sight unseen.  And, we haven’t even met; well, in person anyway.  With all the amazing technology available in real estate now, Buyers are able to see 3-D tours of the homes they are interested in, plus photographs, and satellite images.  It’s almost as good as being there!

Tess and Brady patiently viewed lots of video footage of homes in Portland; and found several that they liked.  Unfortunately, as often happens in this market, they lost out on a few.  But, they were patient and determined, and finally found this NE Gem!

Congratulations you two!  Portland is ready to welcome you!
