True Pride of Ownership in NE Portland!

By Shelley Lucas, June 15, 2021

When the sellers of an adorable Northeast Portland bungalow decided to sell their home and up-size into a bigger Northeast Portland classic Alameda colonial, they wanted to find just the right buyer who would care for the home as they had. The sellers described home ownership as being a steward of the home and having a responsibility to the property and the original builder. They also believe that one should not only hand over the keys, but also hand over the home in such a way that encourages and allows the next owner to care for the property in the same way. When you cultivate a life in a home, you tend to it, make memories in it, and have gratitude for the covering and protection the home has given you. This 2 bedroom bungalow was built in 1921! Can you imagine the memories that have been made there? For the sellers, they met, married, and started a family while living in this home. When the buyer walked in to see the home for the first time, she new that it would be her place of new beginnings too. She will now be the one to take pride in ownership and be the steward of this wonderful home that has been cared for by people since 1921!
