I recently had my DNA analyzed and it turns out that I pretty much descended from a single bean that sprouted in the North countryside of Germany. My business partner bought me the ancestry test insisting that he had a hunch that I was a descendant of a Viking warrior. Viking lore has long hinted that not all warriors were men. Shield-laden riding a horse into battle is not exactly how I see myself, but my partner sees the two of us this way. I liken myself to a Norse Valkyrie, which appear as the lovers of heroes. They were accompanied by swans. And there was that time when I was a child and took in an injured swan that became a pet. —– Where am I going with this… we’ll, the older I get, today being one more year passed, I continually think about the broad strokes of human connections. Whether that be through ancestry lineage or Zodiac signs. Real estate is a spidery-web of human connection and friendship. People and clients come into our lives for a reason. Chris and I have spent the last few months riding into battle for clients and their transactions. Tomorrow I turn 47…….. And while I am not a medieval seafarer who plans on raiding a country, I do plan on kicking ass this next year on behalf of all of our incredible clients. Reflection. My Birthday.
