VINTAGE VIBES #1 – TO CARPET OR NOT TO CARPET…

By Mel Dorman, June 8, 2021

To carpet or not to carpet …

As Realtors, we have the unique opportunity to go “behind the scenes” and unearth lost treasures. Sometimes these unique gifts are right there staring back at you while others are a bit more subtle. What is true for most is that they come in all shapes, sizes, colors, textures, and even functionality. Some lost artifacts have been kept away in original form and fashion to then come on the market for the first time (such as the bathroom below) while others have been intentionally preserved as the home changes hands as if to be put on display for the future generation to admire.

In this edition of Vintage Vibes, I bring you a lost art and vibe of the past … the 1970’s carpeted bathroom. Enjoy!
