Well We’re Moving On Up!

By Chad Meier, December 20, 2018

I had the pleasure of meeting Sherry after my wife introduced us to each other this past summer. She said that she liked the SE PDX condo she owned well enough, but the commute to her job and her children’s school on the west side had become a point of pain she could no longer endure. We got to work on listing her home and searching for new places immediately.

Sometimes the process of selling and buying a home is simply a matter of straightforward actions. Sometimes the transition can be a bit more… complex. A few events happened along this particular journey which threatened to make hers one of the latter. But with a solid game plan in place – and a willingness to “audible” when circumstances called for it – I’m happy to report that we were able to close on the sale of her old home recently (and at asking price too).

Not long thereafter, we got her under contract to purchase a beautiful new home (pictured below) which she closes on this week!

Side note: It’s just 3 minutes from work. The jury’s out on whether I’d consider that aspect a win or not, but she sure does. And that’s all that really matters!

Cheers until next time!
