When my phone lit up and I figured it had something to do with basketball, softball, perhaps another sponsorship opportunity or one of the many other things that tie our friendship together. Stacey continued that they made the decision to move across the country to be closer to family, and wanted to know if I could help sell their home. It’s always a bitter sweet moment when gaining a listing such as this one- but an honor to be part of the process. With a toddler in tow, we walked the home and I watched them soak up every bit of advice for prepping the home, often beating me to the punch. I almost fell out of my shoes when I saw that not only had they done everything on the list, they were out on the sidewalk promoting the upcoming listing. (Seriously…. Dream clients). Four days after going live, we had our offer! $11k over listing price and the ideal closing timeline to allow them to pack up, say good bye to friends, and be on their way to their next chapter.
