We all have heard the first best time of year to sell a house is spring.
But the second best time is just around the corner… FALL!
If you are planning to sell your home you don’t need to wait till Spring 2024 to do so.
The Portland Oregon Real Estate Market thrives all year long and the second most active time is almost here.
If a Fall home sale seems doable for you as a home seller then here are FIVE things to do to get ready:
1) Get Summer Photos!
We do complimentary professional photos and videos while your yard is gorgeous and hold onto them until you’re ready to list.
2) REPLACE YOUR SHINGLES!
Deferred maintenance is a huge turn-off for home buyers. Get all of those small to large visible repairs done to show potential home buyers how well cared for your home is.
3) Declutter your home.
This step can take longer than one may think. We all have a lot of stuff! So taking this one step by step instead of three days before the stagers arrive will ease your stress tenfold.
3) Outside Maintenance.
Clean your gutters, paint your front steps, paint your front door, replace your mailbox, and touch up your caulking and painting outside.
4) Get your Furnace and Ducts cleaned.
While extremely boring, this really helps your house smell good and be fresh for when the furnace turns on!
5) CALL ME!
