When Referrals Feel Like Friends

By Living Room Realty, March 24, 2020

I was in the middle of dinner with my family when I got a text from a past client saying her friends were in need of some real estate help. In my mind, I jumped for joy….not only because I love referrals, but because I was getting a referral from some really amazing people. And in my experience, amazing people tend to associate with other amazing people. Well I was totally right. When I first met this couple, they immediately felt like life long friends. They are the kind of clients where you get really excited for them every step of the way, but then kind of get a little sad when the deal is done, because you know you are going to miss all the daily communication.

In addition to them being the LOVELIEST family, the collaboration with the listing agent and the sellers was superb. Every step of the way was an example of excellent team work with the common goal of having the deal be a win-win for everyone involved. The house had some things that were pricey and important to address. Buyers wanted the house, sellers wanted to sell, and we were able to get the buyers a brand new roof, new siding, new water heater, and some crawlspace and attic work cleaned up. The best part was everyone was so happy at the end. I LOVE MY JOB!
