Derrick and Abby met about a year ago and quickly fell in love…now fast forward to this last Saturday when they tied the knot and are moving in together. I had the pleasure of helping Derrick buy his home, and he referred me to his then girlfriend Abby, who was looking for someone to help her sell her home. I loved getting to help them each take a step closer to having their first home together and to see them happily married in their new home.
More often than not I get the pleasure of making people feel happy and achieve their dreams of homeownership or help them downsize to get one step closer to retirement or sell their home because they are marrying the person of their dreams. Each home purchased or sold brings on a different life event for the people involved and being able to be a small part of that experience for me is more rewarding than I ever imagined this career would be.
