World Cup & Beulahland – a love story

By Living Room Realty, June 15, 2018

It’s here!! World Cup 2018, and I know where to watch alllll the matches – that’s right, BEULAHLAND  at 118 NE 28th ave in Portland, established 1997 – bring yourself, bring the kids, bring your friends, go early and often.

Even though my schedule is quite different then 20 years ago when Beulahland started showing the World Cup I do get myself in there for matches – the Russia schedule is a little tough but I’m probably better suited for the early-ness of game times nowadays.

People have a list of questions and comments when they hear I’m a lucky owner of Beulahland ltd. – here are the top;

How long have you guys owned Beulahland?? We are the Original Owners, since 1997, when we opened in the narrow center space of our building.

I love that place!… I met my first..  studied for my ___ degree there!..  Am there for RuPaul Thursdays!.. Didn’t know there was a Portland Hip Hop night!?… Only watch blazer games in public there..  Have been to more birthday parties there than any other place… Had my first Terminal Gravity IPA there!.. Didn’t know you had food all day!

Do you serve food? Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner – don’t stand around waiting somewhere for brunch, that’s for the not hungry. Wake up, we have brunch!

Do you guys still work there? Not behind the counter or on the floor – unless there is a crazy early match that it would be rude to ask staff to show up for. Come see us – maybe I’ll get back behind the counter for the 2018 World Cup..
