Nike & A Mid-Century Ranch, Or Bust!
Corey and Christine were selling their home in Illinois and getting ready for the biggest move of their lives. Christine was going to start a new job at Nike and they had to find and secure a home fast. They reached out to me, we got to know each other and got to work right away.
We discussed their wants and needs, talked about hobbies, how they relax, how they party and what the foreseeable future holds for them. Over the course of a couple weeks, we whittled down a list of 5 neighborhoods and over 100 homes to 2 hoods and 20 homes. They flew into Portland, we toured and talked neighborhoods. Like surgeons, we sliced away at the list until we found their home. A mid-century ranch sitting on a quiet street about a 10-minute walk from the Nike campus. It had just the right amount of projects, possibilities, a perfect yard for their dog. Not to mention, an ideal commute for Christine. This was the first, and last, house we saw on our 3 days of touring. It makes me happy to know we nailed it on the first house, we just needed to make sure by checking out the rest.
