Pool Party Time!

By Leanne Bach, July 13, 2021

I just got to help some good friends buy a home, and it’s about 4 houses down from their current one. They run a pre-school out of the current house and realized they just need more space and separation from their business. How perfect to be able to find another house so close by? Especially because this one needs A LOT of updating. Grandma’s little time capsule just isn’t going to cut it right now, ha ha! What I’m most excited about this, though, is that it is going to be such a fun project! The house has very good bones, being built in 1964, and has so much space. The space just needs to be utilized better. There is a lot of opportunity for cosmetic updating, but there are some spaces that my friends just don’t even want to touch, like this vintage wallpaper in the powder room:

One of my favorite things to be for my clients is resourceful. Aside from all the big things, like sewer repair, roof replacement and electrical updates, I have an abundance of experts that can help you design your dream kitchen; I can help you build a budget so you can choose which projects to tackle first, according to how it fits into your budget. Buying real estate will be the largest investment of your life, so it’s important to be mindful of what updates and upgrades you choose to do to the property.
So yeah, there’s a lot to do, but I can’t wait to help them dig in! Oh, and did I mention there is a pool in the backyard? That was the first thing we tackled. Closed on a Friday, pool party on Saturday! Congrats Carolyn, David, Charley, Hank and Callie! Love watching you live out your dreams.
