Today I’m celebrating an incredible journey with my friend, Mai, as her family settles into their new home! Mai and I go way back…we went to college together! I had the privilege of working closely with another good friend from college, Kristie Spurling, as Mai’s lender! Bridge to Portland Group team member Genmae Rianelli also worked on this one and together, we navigated this buy/sell adventure.
Mai, a devoted mother to two wonderful children, had a clear priority – finding a new home within the same school district as the house she was selling. We began this journey with boundless excitement and were closely monitoring an active market. However, things got tricky as we tried to precisely time the sale of her current house while searching for the perfect new home.
In a sea of townhome options, some in the same neighborhood, this one stood out as the absolute cutest of the bunch by far. We put in a contingent offer and with open lines of communication, we conquered yet another obstacle and were able to get into contract. It was a journey filled with twists and turns, but together with Gen’s support, Mai’s determination, and Kristie’s strategy sessions, we came out on top.
Congratulations, Mai, on your new home! Here’s to fresh beginnings and countless cherished memories in your beautiful new space, a true testament to your perseverance.
