Third Time’s A Charm

By Kim Parmon, May 14, 2019

I’ve been working with Jorge for a long time and I like him a lot.  He’s an experienced investor who grew up in Portland and has watched the neighborhoods change over time.  When Jorge decides that he likes a project he tends to be aggressive with his offer and very easygoing throughout the process, which is any agent’s dream.

Recently, Jorge has had some bad luck.  He offered on a bank owned property and got verbal acceptance from the bank, but through some crazy circumstances the offer did not end up coming together.  So we found another project: the worst house on the block in a great area was for sale and Jorge wanted it.  We wrote an offer, it was accepted, and the whole transaction went smoothly until, again, very unusual circumstances made the deal fall apart at the last minute through no fault of Jorge’s.

Frustrating?  For sure.  But Jorge is one of those guys that keeps his head up no matter what.  He knows that everything always works out the way it’s supposed to.  Finally, we found a great deal and I am happy to report that it closed today!

Jorge and his team will spend the next few months renovating this project and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.  Congratulations, Jorge!  It’s always a pleasure working with you.
