Kim Parmon

Principal Broker

Kim is the first person who will tell you she never expected to be a Realtor.

She’s had many creative jobs in the past and spent years as a high-volume bartender-turned-bar owner, which she feels gave her an essential skill that translates beautifully into her career in real estate: the ability to juggle 1,000 things at the same time while keeping everyone calm! She became obsessed with buying a house after the market crashed in 2009, finally buying her very first teeny-tiny dilapidated bungalow as a short sale in 2011. She and her husband, Matt, spent a few years fixing it up, then sold it for a profit and bought another project.

And then they did it again. And the rest is history!

Kim’s talent for finding diamonds in the rough has made her into one of Portland’s most sought-after investment Realtors. She loves seeing the missed potential in properties and has all kinds of tricks up her sleeve to find great investments but this talent is equally useful when it comes to traditional buyers and sellers. When you buy a home with Kim’s assistance you can be sure that she is looking at all angles of the purchase to make sure it aligns with your financial goals as well as your lifestyle and she will stop at nothing to make sure you are taken care of! Some of her clients think she’s gotten their offers accepted through sheer force of will! When you list a house with her she will go above and beyond to present your house in the best possible light to make sure you maximize your return on investment.

Above all else, Kim prides herself on her integrity and believes that everyone deserves a caring Realtor partner who truly listens and tries to do what’s right for her clients, even when no one is looking. She is thrilled to call this beautiful city home and can’t wait to help you make your dreams come true through real estate.

Kim's Testimonials

We recently closed on our house. with Kim at the "helm" of our deal. To say that working with Kim was a pleasure is an understatement. We looked at numerous properties, in search of the perfect fit, all of which were accurately addressing our wants and needs. Her knowledge of markets  and area characteristics was invaluable in our evaluation process. Moving from out of town, and unfamiliar with the "personalities" of different areas in town her descriptions and analysis was so helpful. All along the way she was thoughtful and involved in the "elimination" process toward finding just the right fit. At the end of each time we spent looking at a few more houses , she would take us through a series of questions to properly determine their rank and qualifications as a potential home for our family. This process was so very helpful as otherwise our heads would just be swimming with the possibilities. Calls and rapid response communication was much appreciated, and getting answers to questions is her forte. Kim is delightful and so sweet to spend time with , she makes what could be an arduous journey a pleasure. Knowledge and experience beyond her years, answering questions and executing the buying process with ease. Kim really gave us a sense of comfort and confidence as we moved through the escrow and closing process. I would recommend her to anyone looking to smooth the rocky road of your next real estate transaction.

Chris, buyer

This was our second time buying a house and first time selling one. Kim was one of four agents that we met with when we decided to list our house. Kim’s professionalism, confidence and experience set her apart from the other realtors. She guided us through the process of listing our house and made  sure that we were comfortable with every aspect of the sale. She even provided us with items to help us stage the house which was a nice touch. At the same time that we were selling our house we were also looking to buy a house. Kim managed to get our bid accepted in a multi-offer situation while simultaneously getting us a full price offer on our previous home within a week of it being listed. I was frankly amazed that she was able to pull everything together to make for a near seamless transition where we were able to move out of our old house and into the new one without having to stay somewhere else in between. Throughout the entire process Kim was extremely responsive in her communications and always willing to answer questions. I would highly recommend Kim Parmon and would not hesitate to use her services again.

Matt, buyer and seller

I can’t recommend working with Kim enough. She helped my partner and me find our first home in Portland, the process of which we were daunted by at first. Her guidance was strong but never leading; she strived to educate us about every scenario from a multifaceted point of view, but didn't have an  agenda. She wanted us to find the home that was right for us. My partner and I wanted slightly different things; he was interested in more of a "project," while I wanted something more fully finished. Kim has experience with renovating/updating homes herself, so her strength was in guiding us to find a home that was highly livable for the foreseeable future, while affording us an opportunity for renovations and home updates that would ultimately increase the value of our home. Hire Kim! You won't be disappointed.

Liz, buyer

Kim is the only realtor you will ever need in Portland area. She works for you when you are sleeping at night. You will not be disappointed to take all your real estate needs to Kim. As an out of state investor I made fantastic returns under her direction. Very responsive and diligent, always follows up and responds within hours, if not minutes.

Paul

Kim was great in returning phone calls or answering all our question no matter how inconsequential or untimely. She sought out answers and got back to us quickly. She was knowledgeable, efficient and fun to work with, we would definitely recommend her to someone either buying or selling a home.
