Who’s that familiar face on their fridge?

By Yascha Noonberg, April 14, 2021

Congrats to the Christmas family on the purchase of their amazingly gorgeous new home in NW Portland! It’s one of the most stunning homes I’ve had the pleasure to help a client purchase in my career.

We certainly weren’t the only folks to fall in love with this home as we had to get extremely creative to stand out amongst the nine other incredibly strong offers. Fortunately we all have a great working relationship since this is the second home I’ve helped them purchase and they followed every piece of advice and even came up with a few creative offers terms to sweeten the pot and make it impossible for the Sellers to say no.

I have to say that there was something that happened on the day I delivered the keys to them that truly moved me. I had forgotten about this but when I got the keys to their last house, I took a polaroid snapshot of myself holding up their keys and gave it to them along with their closing gift. They actually kept the picture on their fridge all of this time and when they showed up with a carload of essentials to the new home, this pic came with them and went right onto the new fridge.

I can’t really express how special that made me feel to know that they keep a goofy picture of their Realtor and friend on their fridge!!

This incredible home was taken down to the studs by a remodeler and completely re-built with amazing finishes and a truly remarkable floor plan. It also has one of the nicest yards in the neighborhood and a spectacular covered back patio.

Enjoy your amazing new home!!
