Real Estate Lesson of the Year

By Yonette Fine, September 3, 2021

Real estate lesson of the year, for me, is to hear the key elements buyers are looking for in their ideal home and NOT decide that it is a mid century modern home or 1907 four square that houses all of their hopes and dreams.

It is essential to take the clean lines, circular layout, high ceilings, studio space, loads of light and house with character requests to heart while staying open to the final form. Sometimes buyers are firmly against a particular style, so I shy away from that, but otherwise I will remain open to the exterior style and know that sometimes, you will introduce buyers to a dream home they never expected.

Thank you for trusting me and enduring my “bullying” you into touring and writing our best offer on this one G+J+A+N!  I see many fun years for you in this super cool home in one of the most desirable hoods in Portland….even though it is not that mid century mod you saw yourself in 🙂
