The Joy of Vancouver Waterfront Park!

By Constance Rigney, September 30, 2021

“We are the conduits of water. Water connects us to all the life that has ever been, to all the life that will ever be. We are this river. This river is us.” —Teresa Jordan

Spotted this lovely quote while exploring the Vancouver Waterfront Park with my family recently. I hadn’t been to the park since they first started building it, and it’s come such a long way!

The views are astounding, there is a lovely water feature (reminiscent of Jamison Square Park in the Pearl), and beautiful rock sculptures engraved with equally beautiful words.  A path along the water encircles the area, and it’s perfect for meandering on a sunny afternoon.

Here is a link, if you would like to learn more about Vancouver Waterfront Park:

Check it out next time you’re in the area. And a pro tip: snag an ice cream cone or milkshake from The Yard!
