🌲 The Trusted Relocation Specialist Welcomes Another Family Home

As an Oregon native, I take my role as a trusted relocation specialist seriously. Hospitality runs deep here in the Pacific Northwest, and I believe every newcomer deserves a warm welcome.

My roots run wide — my mother is from Wisconsin by way of Minnesota, and my fathers side is from Washington state by way of Mississippi. Maybe that’s why I have such a soft spot for people moving to Oregon from all over. I’ve lived many different lives in this beautiful state, and I love how my work connects me with people who share that same sense of adventure.

So, you can imagine my excitement whenever an out-of-state client reaches out about relocating to Oregon. It feels a little like being the class president, proudly showing the new students around the school.

🏡 Helping the Busby Family Relocate from Texas

My most recent relocation clients were the Busby family, moving here from Texas. Welcome to the Great Northwest!

The Busbys chose Oregon to be closer to their two daughters and grandchildren — family was their biggest motivation. In addition, Debbe’s mother was relocating with them from Texas into an adult care home here in Oregon, so it was important that their new house wasn’t too far from her facility. Short commutes mean more time spent together, and that was a top priority.

We planned two property-tour trips to Oregon. During the second visit, everything clicked. By the end of that trip, we were under contract on their dream home!

🌳 The Perfect Home in the Perfect Neighborhood

Here’s a fun bonus: their home turned out to be the only house in the neighborhood not part of an HOA. That meant no dues and no strict HOA rules — but they still get to enjoy all the benefits of a beautifully maintained community. It was the perfect mix of freedom and charm.

Stories like this are why I love being a trusted relocation specialist at Living Room Realty. Every family, every journey, and every reason for moving is different. My job is to make sure each move feels smooth, supported, and even a little magical.

🤝 Thank You, Busby Family

To the Busby family — thank you for trusting me as your agent and relocation partner. I hope your new home brings you comfort, joy, and plenty of beautiful Oregon memories.

If you’re planning an out-of-state move to Oregon, I’d love to help you too. Let’s make your transition easy, exciting, and exactly what you’ve been hoping for.
