Matthew, fulfilled his dream of moving to Portland last year with the goal of constructing his ideal home. He sought a neighborhood with walkability for him and his dog, close proximity to excellent dining options and coffee shops, and ample space for hosting friends and family. With a background in architecture & a discerning eye for potential, we embarked on an extensive search for the perfect project. Although drawn to Irvington, Matthew wanted to avoid the challenges of dealing with the red tape associated with rebuilding in a historic neighborhood.
After months of exploration, we identified the ideal fixer-upper just outside the historic boundaries, featuring a fantastic layout and tremendous potential. Taking swift action, we secured the home at a great price, allowing him the flexibility to transform it into the home of his dreams. We successfully closed at the end of last year & despite winter weather, Matthew has made significant progress. Driving by, it’s exciting to witness the piles of dirt in the yard, the bobcat parked in front, and we eagerly anticipate the completion of his project. Being part of Matthew’s journey is truly an honor, and assisting friends in achieving their dreams is one of life’s greatest joys! So happy for him!!
