As the season transitions, it’s time to put some love into your house. Here are some things that you should do to prepare your house for spring and summer:
- Clean off all the leaves and debris from gutters and downspouts. Make sure all your gutters extenders are still firmly connected and diverting water away from your foundation. The season might be changing, but the rain can remain heavy.
- Clean up the yard and garden! Start filling your green bin with debris and prepping your yard for planting. This is a great time of year to spread a 2 inch layer of compost over all your garden beds.
- Change your HVAC filter. Winter is drawing to a close, time for a new one to head off the seasonal allergies that are fast approaching.
- If you have an AC, test it now to make sure it is in good working order before you need it serviced and everyone is booked.
- Check the batteries in your Co2 and smoke alarms. Test them and make sure they are all working and properly placed in your home. If you are unsure of placement, give me a ring.
If you need help, or recommendations for any of these tasks. reach out to me. I am happy to help.
