They Fell in Love with the Baby Grand

By Living Room Realty, August 15, 2018

When Nathan and Rachel were prepping their house for sale they did everything right. From fresh paint and new backsplash to full staging, it shined. Their one question was what to do with their baby grand piano in their interim time between moving out and finding their forever home. After meeting with the awesome people at Crush Staging, we all decided leaving it in the elegant 1941 formal living room was the right choice. Nathan is a musician through and through…growing up with a dad who’s a conductor and playing several instruments himself, music is life.

When I heard from an agent telling me she had the perfect buyers for the house I knew she was right as the first thing in their letter said is that they fell in love with the baby grand piano in the living room. You see both buyers grew up playing a baby grand and as first line of business in their new marriage and new home, they would be purchasing a baby grand together to make new memories with. When they walked in the living room they had an acute emotional reaction, visualizing the years to come sitting in that huge bay window looking at the gorgeous tree-lined streets of Eastmoreland, making music.

The baby grand that brought it all together is now in it’s new home in Eugene where the sellers have settled to raise their girls surrounded by cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles and will, no doubt, keep being the center of memories for years to come!
