Time-Based Arts Festival, Sept. 8-18

By Dill Ward, August 29, 2022

The Time-Based Art Festival (TBA Festival) is running from September 8-18 in locations all over Portland metro area. The New York Times called it “The best contemporary summer festival in the country.” It features artists from all over the world, including places like Morocco, Singapore, and France.

There will be ten days of performances with various visual arts and other projects that defy description. The goal of the festival is to provide an opportunity for experimental movement-based visual arts projects to have an opportunity to showcase a variety of unique works.

TBA is organized by the Portland Institute for Contemporary Art (PICA). Installations and performances are scattered over a number of theaters, galleries, warehouses and public spaces, with a selection of workshops and talks to complement the experience.

I’m always honored to be invited into someone’s home to allow them to speak aloud their hopes & dreams. My strategy brain goes straight to plotting the course, while my coaching heart delivers thoughtful questions to learn more about the fears & concerns keeping my client up at night.  As a Realtor for 15 years, landlord managing my own rental portfolio, certified master negotiator, digital marketing expert, and social media influencer, I’d still say my superpower is bringing a tidal wave of positivity and energy to each new opportunity. I absolutely love real estate, and I love people even more.  I know that buying or selling a home is more than just a transaction, it’s an emotional experience of leaping into the unknown and discovering what you really want next in your life. Having a Realtor who understands THIS and also kicks butt at marketing & negotiating is a next level experience!  I’ve personally moved 9 times in 12 years (by choice & with proper planning & grace every time), for pursuit of exploration & curiosity about how life would expand in each new home. This has given me quite the project management skills to orchestrate 15 different vendors & contractors to make miracles happen in a short amount of time. Not to mention pretty epic home organizing, planning, packing, and moving tricks. I even wrote another best-selling book called: “Your Dream Home: The Ultimate Guide on Buying a House to Inspire the Next Version of You My background is in graphic design, advertising, psychology & sales. I have a passion for technology, building community, and personal development. I’ve sold over 500 homes yet strive to treat each client as if they are my only.  As of this writing, I reside in NW Portland, Oregon where I’m re-imaging & remodeling a mid-century home to a modern masterpiece with my husband, daughter, and cat.  Learn more about how we can help you with your real estate goals.
