A Sweet New House for Sugar and her Human

By Living Room Realty, April 27, 2021

Hi, Readers!

I love dogs. I was raised with two Irish Setters named Katie and Finnegan. Our hair matched. Later, my parents bred Cocker Spaniels and I’ve always had a dog in my life. Our family dog, Roz, is a Boxer/Boston/Pit and she is a total knucklehead. I love talking to her in what I imagine her voice to be, and it’s pretty much dufus.

Sugar is a high energy golden with a pretty spectacular human for a Mom, named Stephanie. Stephanie was on the hunt for her first house and was renting in St. Johns. She had

lived in the neighborhood for a long time and was ready to put down roots. After careful planning, saving and understanding the landscape we started our journey for her and home ownership. When we found a sweet farmhouse with a big yard, Sugar and Stephanie knew it was it. We went in with eyes wide open, knowing that it was an old house, and there were going to be warts. Stephanie was pragmatic, and we prioritized what she needed to see addressed. Lucky for all of us, it was mea

nt to be. My colleague Breylan Deal-Erickson on the sellers’ side was a dream to work with and together we lined up repairs and the negotiation process was as smooth as Sugar’s coat. I love it when it works out this way.

Congratulations to these sweet ladies, may you have many happy memories and sweet dreams of chasing squirrels.

Are you ready to put your money to work, instead of paying rent? Reach out. I loooooove helping first time homebuyers and it would be my treat to help you fetch home. OK, I’m done now.

Till then, high fives!
