During these touch and go real estate times I am reminded that staying the course and doing all of the things that make for a wonderful real estate experience is essential. One such thing, when applicable, is arranging for a seller & buyer to have quality time together that includes transitioning the home in a more old fashioned way.

As my buyer, a city dweller, was purchasing a 9 acre farm that ends at the river’s edge, a tips and tricks date with the seller seemed essential to me. Fortunately the sellers were onboard with meeting, post closing, so we all spent a couple hours walking the home and land while I took notes on how to best live on the farm.

I thought this was doing my buyer a favor, but, as it turned out, it was the perfect way for these dear sellers to say goodbye to their home & farm of 30 years. They seemed more excited and relieved than my buyer, and the date was filled with good vibes, gratitude and excitement.

As we continue down this rocky real estate path, I’ll remember that day and continue to go that extra mile for my people.

P.R., thank you for allowing me to guide you during this fun, swift transaction, and into your dream home by the river.
