A Fresh Start in SE

By Living Room Realty, July 2, 2019

I met up with Sam at the Speedboat coffeehouse in FoP0 in April to talk Real Estate. After a number of years and a hot start to a successful career in the Bay Area, Sam realized that he wanted to return to Oregon. Fresher air, more space, and way more affordable.

After a couple of follow up face time meetings, he flew up for a long weekend of serious house hunting. Sam is sharp and knew that while he was likely going to have to compete a bit to get into a solid starter house in Woodstock, Foster-Powell or Mt. Scott-Arletta, he was going to drive a hard bargain.

This fully upgraded mid-century ranch hit the market just in time for us to get in and see it. I wrote him up a great offer (after lots of research), and got it accepted after a bit of negotiation. All of this, just in time for him to fly back down to CA and wrap up his life there.

Now, it’s closing week and I think that Sam got a good deal in a hot neighborhood. Great job Sam! It was an honor to help you along your way.
