Baby Boom Blooming in Portland, OR!

Next Generation Portland

Over the many seasons that I have been a real estate agent in Portland, Oregon, this spring has brought me more clients with, or preparing to have, young ones than I can ever remember before.

Folks from near and far are choosing PDX as the place to grow their families. Not only are people migrating from San Francisco, the City by the Bay, and California in general, but also from as far as Brooklyn and Atlanta, and as close as Beaverton, to their new homes in Portland proper.

One lucky family closed today on this beauty in the Woodstock area, ready for a better quality of life. They love the walkable business district with local merchants galore and the easy access to the nearby park. They will be settling in to this Renaissance Home, built just a couple of years ago.

Some have come from across the country and some are staying close to home. The Portland life style is a steady draw. The verdant tree canopies, vibrant spring flora, array of organic food options, solid parks and rec and community supported public schools keep ’em coming, and the pet friendly, kid friendly, welcoming neighborhoods keep ’em staying close, even when moving from one home to the next.
