On the move to SE Portland

After years of living in a 1930 farmhouse near Boring, Oregon, that had been in the family for generations, Lisa and her teen boys decided it was time for the urban life. Excited by all that the recently renovated and expanded Franklin High School offers, they made that the focus of their home search. Wanting something entirely different than the old familiar digs, Lisa jumped on a new listing of a 2009 home with plenty of outlets and bathrooms. Miraculously, the seller accepted their offer and cancelled the scheduled open house. Lucky duck to get the first offer accepted right off the bat.

The boys are chomping at the bit for summer fun at the Mt. Scott Community Center pool in the wild waves. They are eager to bike and skateboard to all the cool places on nearby Woodstock Blvd and Foster Road. Lisa will love hanging out at the Portland Mercado and the New Seasons Rooftop Patio.

I plan to use every visit to their new home as an excuse to grab a bite at Off The Griddle, one of my favorite places for a vegan burger and a slice of Shoefly Pie!
