Mom & Daughter duo Laureen & Lisa were on the hunt for a move in ready two bedroom updated condo. Right now Laureen resides in California full time but she is looking to spend more time in Portland to be closer to her daughter Lisa and two grandchildren. She knew she wanted to be east side. She didn’t have a preference on NE or SE just as long as she could walk to her daughters house from where ever she landed. Laureen is a walker, up to 10 miles a day, she says it is so she can enjoy all the good coffee and farm to table restaurants Portland has to offer, and I don’t blame her. She ended up finding a few great condo options but none that really spoke to her. So when we came across an updated condo just off Hawthorne with two oversized bedrooms, I had to rush over there to face-time her. Instantly we knew it was the ONE! We ended up in a competing offer situation and got back up. While we were bummed we all had a lingering feeling that this condo was meant to be Laureen’s. So when we got the call moving us into first position we were elated. Laureen didn’t even see the condo in person until the inspection period. She loved it! She was so excited to learn that Jam, Grand Central bakery and Hotlips were all on her block. She is filled with joy knowing she will be making many wonderful memories in the neighborhood with her family.
