Home Offices for Two

By Cristen Lincoln, September 16, 2020

Mary and Clint were bursting at the seams in their rental and after watching a few of their friends buy homes successfully in this swiftly moving sellers market they were ready to give it a shot. These two creatives needed more space and fast, Clint a sound engineer and Mary a designer wanted separate work spaces where they could each work from home comfortably. Ideally, Clint was hoping to find a shed or garage he could turn into his own sound studio and Mary wanted an inviting room to feel inspired while she works. Finding this balance would be key in their new home. We didn’t waste anytime and went and looked at a few homes right away but nothing felt quite right. We stumbled upon a home on a quiet street a little further outside of their target neighborhood. Once we walked inside we could all feel this home was a great fit, 2 nice sized bedrooms, a vintage kitchen, an attached garage, oversized yard and even a shed in the backyard with lots of potential to be a home office. We got busy writing a competitive offer that ultimately got accepted. We couldn’t be happier for these two to start working and creating in their very own home.
