I Love My Job!

By Yonette Fine, September 3, 2019

My previous boss used to enjoy those days when her agents had a

high point in their transaction and would burst through the doors

declaring, “I love my job!”. Those mornings were infectious in our

little office and I begin to look for those moments in my transactions.

The longer one is in the real estate industry the more highs AND lows

you experience. Personally, it seems my lows are split between half the

“difficult” transaction and half my state of mind at that time.

It’s like child rearing, the more well rested, hydrated and fed you are

the better parent you can be to your kiddos.

‘I love my job” moments seem to stem from gratitude. Being in

place of gratitude for my clients, co-agents and their clients, and

the home itself. Also, working with clients who are grateful for me

and the service I provide. It’s these mutually nourishing moments that

make magic.
