If I Could “Cut and Paste” a Seller

By Living Room Realty, October 24, 2020

I received a text one night from a dear friend that her neighbor was looking for a realtor, and strongly recommended me (thank you!). That night we connected and from the moment I heard Shari’s cheerful voice on the other end of the line, I knew it was a great match. After some listing prep and patience, we were ready to go live. Shari and her husband Mike were always five steps ahead of me (not an easy thing to do!), handing me refrigerator manuals and service histories, cleaning the already clean carpets and touching up paint where no one would likely ever even see; an agent couldn’t ask for better sellers. Their hearts were truly with this home, and the care they had taken was obvious. After four short days on the market, we had our first offer- a first time buyer that had fallen just as in love with the home as the sellers had. I watched the bitter sweet goodbye wash over their faces as they drove away, looking back at what once had been their special home, their hearts full of joy knowing the next buyer would take great care of it. Through Covid and overwhelming smoke, they always remained positive and grateful. I am so honored I was able to represent them and be part of their next chapter! Thank you, and cheers to a heartfelt closing! May you stay safe and forever a true joy to be around.
