Portland’s single family housing market is on fire! The condo market…not so much. During a time where many people are looking for more space, more room for a home office or distant learning center, and more outdoor living, I listed a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhome style condo in St John’s. We knew there were set backs; no yard, multiple stories, attached living. But we also knew the perks of having Cathedral Park right out the front door, the convenience of condo living, and being blocks to downtown St John’s would appeal to the right buyer. From August to October, North Portland condos averaged 62 days on market, selling at 96.6% list price. With great prep and marketing, at 33 days on market we received a full price offer, beating both averages and making for happy clients.
