A friend of a friend called me to say she wanted to sell her home in Oregon City. In the weeks soon after we had many discussions and I got to know her and the type of person she is. She told me of her long standing dream to live in Bend, OR, which if you don’t know, is the “outdoor playground” of the Pacific Northwest. Many people, including myself, have visited and think to themselves “I wonder what it’d be like to move here”. There’s kayaking, paddling, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and the list goes on and on. Ton’s of breweries, mountain trail’s, scenery that’s never ending. You get the picture. In the short time we were listing and under contract she went out of town three times, worked over-time as a nurse, helped her friend take care of her baby, baby sat out of town friends’ 2 kids, visited friends and family, all while getting a new job and a new place to live. She’s an amazing person that is on the precipice of living her dream. I’m so honored to have been even just a small part of that.
