When Adam & Silvia moved to Portland from Utah for Silvia’s job, one of our great clients referred them to us. They had sold their home in Utah and were eager to find their next home in one of Portland’s walkable neighborhoods. It was really important for them to find a home where their daughter Elle could walk to school and easily make new friends. They found out right away that market demand in Portland was high. They found a rental in SE which took some of the pressure off. They discovered the Laurelhurst neighborhood and since Elle had already made friends, they wanted to stay. We were proactive, making calls, sending out letters, trying to find places not yet on the market and of course looking at everything listed. We knew we would find them a great house it just might take a little longer than anticipated. Silvia said “I need a house by my birthday in July”. We now had a goal and we did not want to disappoint! As luck would have it we decided drop into an open house together on a brand new listing and eureka,we found it! A call to the listing agentto gather info and we knew what we needed to do to get this house under contract. It checked all the boxes they knew by now how to be competitive! We wrote a fantastic offer and won so today they get to move into their dream home in their dream location. We couldn’t be happier for this wonderful family. Not only is Silvia going to be in her house for her birthday, Elle already has two best friends she gets to go to school with in the Fall!
