Nesting Preparations

By Yonette Fine, March 16, 2021

Nesting in pregnant women is the instinct to get their homes tidy and in order for

their little birdies arrival. When I met my clients, their nest was a condo in the Pearl,

perfectly fit for a single couple, but large enough to fit a baby. To make the condo work,

they would need to remove the butcher block island on wheels, slide the wire pantry shelves

down about 4 feet and create the perfect spot, in the kitchen, for Little Boo.

Of course, I exaggerate, because these soon-to-be-super-parents would never leave

Little Boo in the kitchen to sleep, but it did create the need for a larger home.

We set out on our first tour weekend and found some “almost, but not quite” perfect

homes for them, but it gave us something to help in our curation. Within a couple weeks,

their dream home came to market and we jumped on it in the first 2 hours. Once we

were able to tour, we wrote an offer that night and have never looked back!

Thanks so much for allowing me to guide you into your first home Z, B & Little Boo.

Let the nesting begin….
